Srinagar, (UNI) An encounter between militants and security forces erupted Sunday evening in Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
The encounter erupted in the Larrow-Parigam area following specific information about the presence of militants there.
“As the joint parties of police and security forces reached the particular spot, militants opened fire and the security forces effectively retaliated, triggering the encounter”, they said.
Police and Security Forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, police said.
