Harris takes first lead in swing state Michigan

Washington, Nov 3 (UNI) Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has taken lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump in the swing state of Michigan, which will also determine the outcome of the election, for the first time in two months, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports and conservative publication American Thinker.

A new phone and online poll by Rasmussen Reports and American Thinker shows that if the election were held today, 49% of likely voters in Michigan would vote for Harris, and 48% would vote for Trump, while 1% say they would vote for another candidate, and 2% are undecided.

In the latest Michigan poll, published on October 17, the candidates were tied at 48%. The same result was in September, Rasmussen notes.

The survey was conducted among 908 likely voters from October 24 to November 1. The margin of error is 3 percentage points.

The US presidential election will take place on November 5.
