Houthis claim attack on Ben Gurion Airport as Netanyahu returns to Israel

Sanaa, Sep 29 (UNI) Shiite movement Ansar Allah (the Houthis), which rules northern Yemen, said it had attacked Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv with a Palestine-2 missile as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning to Israel from the United States.

“The Yemeni Air Force attacked Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile during the arrival of the enemy entity’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria told Al-Masirah broadcaster.

Earlier on Saturday, speaking on the occasion of Israel’s assassination of Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, the Ansar Allah leader said that the hopes of the Jews had been dashed after the assassination of Palestinian martyr Ismail Haniyeh and their hopes would be dashed after the death of Nasrallah as well. The support fronts “will continue and grow despite the efforts of the Israeli enemy, and we will not let down the two dear peoples of Lebanon and Palestine.”

The Israeli prime minister arrived in the country from the United Nations General Assembly in the United States after the Israeli army had killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah in a strike on Beirut.
