India bat first against Bangladesh in T20 WC clash

Antigua, June 22 (UNI) In a crucial Super-8 match-up in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, India won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium here on Saturday.

The decision comes as India aims to extend their unbeaten streak in the competition.

India, led by Rohit Sharma, have maintained an undefeated record, winning all their matches except one which was abandoned due to weather conditions. They enter today’s encounter with confidence, backed by strong performances from key players such as Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah.
