India, Kuwait hold 6th Round of Foreign Office Consultations

Kuwait City/New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) India and Kuwait held the 6th Round of Foreign Office Consultations in Kuwait City today, during which both sides reviewed the entire gamut of multifaceted ties to further strengthen and diversify it.

In a post on X, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait said:

“The 6th Foreign Office Consultations (FoC) between India and Kuwait co-chaired by JS (Gulf), Mr Aseem Mahajan and AFM Asia, Amb Sameeh Essah Johar Hayat were held today in Kuwait. Both sides reviewed the entire gamut of multifaceted ties to further strengthen and diversify it.”

The Kuwait Foreign Ministry in a post on X said that the Kuwaiti Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Aseem Mahajan, Joint Secretary (Gulf), who is in Kuwait at the head of the Indian delegation participating in the sixth round of political consultations.

“Today, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Asim Mahajan, Assistant Undersecretary for Gulf Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, on the occasion of his official visit to the country to head his country’s delegation participating in the meetings of the sixth round of political consultations between… The State of Kuwait and the Republic of India.”
