  • NIITTR Foundation: Says compassionate intelligence also necessary along with AI

Bhopal: NITTTR Bhopal organized a grand program on its 61st Foundation Day. Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi was present as the chief guest on this occasion. Satyarthi extended his heartfelt wishes to NITTTR Bhopal and said that the development of the whole world is possible only through mutual cooperation. Sensitivity develops in a person only through kindness and compassion. Only India can globalize compassion. Man should be honest in his mind, words and deeds so that the society can develop holistically. No computer can replace a teacher. Compassionate intelligence is also necessary along with artificial intelligence.

NITTTR Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi, while describing the glorious journey of 61 years of the Institute, said that the foundation day of any institute is to be proud of its glorious past and prepare oneself for the challenges of the future. Prof. Tripathi discussed in detail about strengthening “Make in India” through quality training, technology transfer, internships, skill development programs, digital education, research leadership, future directions, AI-driven teaching methods etc.

Bachpan Bachao Andolan has expanded to 144 countries

Dean Corporate and International Relations of NITTTR Bhopal, Prof. PK Purohit, while talking about the personality and work of Kailash Satyarthi, said that his Bachpan Bachao Andolan has expanded to 144 countries, due to which today he has become synonymous of compassion, courage and integrity on the world stage.

On this occasion, short films made on NITTTR Bhopal and Kailash Satyarthi were screened. On this occasion, the lab of the proposed AI ML Center of Excellence in NITTTR Bhopal was named after Satyarthi. A cultural program was also organized in the Institute. Sumedha Satyarthi, Vandana Tripathi, Prof. R.K. Dixit, Prof. Sanjay Agarwal and special guests from other institutions were present. The vote of thanks was given by Major Nishant Ojha and the program was conducted by Anita Lala.
