Indore: Procession held for assaulting ASI, two Arrested

Indore – In a shocking incident, two accused who brutally assaulted Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) were arrested after a dramatic turn of events. Ravi, aged 25, son of Prem Singh Rathore, a resident of 71/1 Shivkanth Nagar, and Vikas, aged 29, son of Ramesh Dabi, a resident of 470 Diwal Wali Gali, Shivkanth Nagar, were taken into custody. These individuals had clashed with the police for two consecutive days, prompting a serious response from law enforcement.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, the police paraded the accused in a procession through the streets as a symbolic show of accountability and law enforcement’s firm stance. Vikas, who holds a position as a jail guard at a sub-jail in Jobat, Alirajpur district, was among the perpetrators. Both accused were arrested and granted a two-day police remand to further investigate the matter.

Meanwhile, the police are still on the lookout for the other two suspects, Arvind and another Vikas, who are yet to be apprehended. The crackdown on this case is continuing, with authorities determined to ensure that all those involved face justice.
