- Special efforts being made to make farmers self-reliant through solar energy in the state
- Mutual fund distributors from across the country participate in investment counseling programme in Indore
Bhopal, The country is progressing at a fast pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Along with various sectors, the mutual fund industry has also grown rapidly. Investment in the mutual fund industry has increased from Rs 10 lakh crore to more than Rs 68 lakh crore. There is an investment of Rs 1.25 lakh crore in mutual funds in the state, which indicates the development that has taken place here. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated this in the 2-day investment counseling programme of Mutual Fund Distributors organized in Indore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government’s budget is Rs 3.25 lakh crore and the state government is working with a big target of increasing it to Rs 7 lakh crore. We are working with an emphasis on increasing income by reducing unnecessary expenses. The country and the state are moving forward with big goals in every field. In the changing times, the systems have witnessed revolutionary changes.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special efforts are being made in the state to make farmers self-reliant in power generation through solar energy pumps. With the implementation of this scheme, the state government will save a huge amount of money spent on electricity. He said that there were 5 medical colleges in the state in 2003. Currently, there are 30 medical colleges with 5 thousand seats in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that work is in progress to establish 52 medical colleges in the state in the coming time.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the river-linking campaign, special work is being done on 2 river-linking campaigns in the state. With these schemes, the current irrigation area in the state will increase from 45 lakh hectares to one crore hectares. This will benefit not only irrigation but also industries in the state. An increase in irrigation area will boost employment along with development in the state. He said that good steps for the future will emerge through brainstorming in the mutual fund investment counseling programme.
State Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat, MLA Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Gaurav Ranadive, Central India President of Mutual Fund Association Shri Rajesh Kulwal, Shri Abhilash Jain, Shri Amit Maheshwari, Shri Pramod Saraf and a large number of mutual fund distributors from across the country were present in the programme.
