Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that an industry office of Madhya Pradesh will be opened in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu to facilitate investment in Madhya Pradesh. This office will act as a bridge to increase trade and business between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Invest MP- Interactive Session in Coimbatore. The industrialists here have established Coimbatore and Tripura as industrial hubs on their own strength, now Madhya Pradesh is calling you. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the “Invest MP-Interactive Session” organized in Coimbatore, the major industrial center of South India, by lighting a lamp and offering water to the Tulsi plant.

Coimbatore is known for industrial sectors like textile and garment, engineering and information technology. A road show and interactive session with investors and industrialists were organized in Coimbatore with the aim of inviting industrialists of Tamil Nadu to the Global Investor Summit to be held in Bhopal to promote investment and industrial activities in the state. More than 1200 delegates participated in the session and investment proposals of more than Rs 3500 crore were received for investment in Madhya Pradesh.

Year 2025 will be celebrated as the Industry Year

Dr. Yadav said that textile and garment industry, automobile and engineering industries are also developing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. There are immense possibilities in these areas in Madhya Pradesh. The state government is constantly making efforts for the establishment and development of industries in the state. In this direction, a new initiative has been started to promote investment in every area of ??the state through Regional Industry Conclave.

Dr. Yadav said that the Global Investors Summit will be organized in Bhopal on 7-8 February 2025. I have come to invite you to be a part of the investment revolution going on in the state.

State’s eco-system favorable for textile industry

Dr. Yadav said that the state’s eco-system is very favorable for the textile industry. To attract large-scale garment industries, the special readymade garment policy implemented in the state has provision for financial assistance up to 200 percent of fixed capital investment. To prepare human resources in accordance with the changing needs of the textile industry, a state-of-the-art skill development center is being started in Jabalpur city and an MoU has also been signed with Tirupur Export Association to assist in skill and cluster development. It is a matter of pride that PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park has been approved in Dhar district of the state.

Automobile engineering is the focused sectors of govt

Dr. Yadav said that more than 10 OEMs of auto industries and more than 200 auto component manufacturers are present in Madhya Pradesh. Many big and small units of OEMs and ancillaries required for commercial vehicle manufacturing are also working. To encourage the manufacturing of electric vehicles, the state government is setting up an EV dedicated industrial area near Indore and EV commercial vehicles and two wheelers and three wheelers are also being manufactured in the state.

Dr. Yadav said that the state has got ample gifts of mineral, forest, water and tourism wealth. Madhya Pradesh is a people friendly, development friendly and environment friendly destination for setting up industries and investment. The state has more than 320 industrial areas, 10 food parks, 5 IT SEZs, 2 spice parks, 2 multi product SEZs and 2 plastic parks. New industrial parks and SEZs are being set up. is being established.

Three MoUs signed

One-to-one meetings were held with more than 25 industrialists and 4 major industry organizations in the interactive session. Knowledge sharing MoU was signed with Indian Cotton Corporation to promote the production and area of ??ELS cotton in the state and knowledge sharing MoU was signed with Tirupur Export Association to increase the availability of skilled manpower in the state and to establish textile cluster. MoU was also signed with South India Mills Association to promote cotton cultivation in Madhya Pradesh and research and development sharing.
