Investor summit will be held every four months

  • It will be organized at regional level, next summit in Jabalpur

The focus of the state government in the state has now shifted to regional investors’ summits instead of mega investors’ summits. Now, these summits will be held at divisional headquarters at the regional level. After the last summit was held in Ujjain, now the next summit will be held in Jabalpur. From now on, the summit will be held every four months. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given instructions in this regard.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the status of implementation of the decisions taken in the division level review meeting in the ministry on Tuesday. During this, the Chief Minister directed that a division level booklet should be published focusing on the development works and other public welfare activities done as a result of divisional meetings.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that sand excavation in the state should be done as per rules, machines installed illegally in excavation should be seized immediately. He said that illegal excavation will not be tolerated at any cost. The Chief Minister said that the boundaries of tehsils, development blocks, districts and divisions are to be re-determined with the objective of providing relief to the common man, accelerating the process of development in the state, reducing the problems of the general public, increasing administrative and departmental efficiency and capacity. Public sentiments and the views of public representatives must be included in this process. Connecting remote villages to the nearest district headquarters, coordination in the system of Police Commissionerate and District Collector, proposed implementation of Metropolitan System in big cities should also be kept in mind in this process.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received information about the progress of construction of Shivpuri Medical College, creating land bank in the concerned districts for the Varanasi-Mumbai corridor originating from the state and the action taken in relation to the public awareness campaign being run to maintain crop cycle with the aim of protecting the fertility of the land. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is a need to adjust the colleges in the state, colleges should be run where there is demand and sufficient students are available. Vehicle facilities can be provided to the students of the surrounding area to go to the college. He also gave instructions to develop a small stadium in each district.

Stadium will be built in every district

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the departments of the state government should provide all possible support to the railways so that the ongoing rail projects in the state are completed within the time limit. Proposals should also be prepared to develop new rail routes in the state. He said that a work plan for new expressways should be made to connect the remote areas of the state to big cities, reduce the distance between each other and for rapid development.

Logistics hub will be built

In the meeting, it was informed that as a result of divisional level meetings, better coordination has been developed between public representatives and officials at the tehsil and district level. Land has been identified for the logistics hub to be developed between Ujjain and Indore and Wonder Entertainment Park. Sewer line of Shivpuri has been approved. As a result of divisional meetings, including the solution of the drinking water problem of Guna Ring Road, Ashok Nagar, information was given about the development works and public welfare activities done in the districts within the time limit.
