Rio De Janeiro, (UNI) Colombia international playmaker James Rodriguez could leave Sao Paulo in the coming weeks as he seeks to kickstart his stalled career.
The 32-year-old has grappled with poor form and a series of injuries since joining Sao Paulo in a two-year contract last July.
According to Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte, the midfielder’s departure could come as soon as next month, when Europe’s principal leagues open their summer transfer windows.
Suitors are understood to include Sevilla, AC Milan, Besiktas, Real Salt Lake City and Columbus Crew.
Rodriguez, who is contracted to Sao Paulo until June 2025, has made just 22 appearances across all competitions for the Brazilian Serie A club, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
