Jammu, Aug 19 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was killed in an exchange of fire between terrorists and police at Basantgarh in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
A police official said that during area domination patrol at Chill in Dudu, an exchange of fire took place between terrorists and joint parties of JKP and CRPF.
“In the encounter, one Inspector of CRPF suffered bullet injuries and has attained martyrdom,” he said adding that the operation is in progress.
