Kochi, Sep 20 (UNI) The Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) has officially announced the India International Industrial Expo 2024 (IIIE-2024), scheduled to take place from December 13 to 15, 2024, at KINFRA Industrial Park in Kalamasserry, Kochi.
Supported by Metro Mart and the Industries and Commerce Department of Kerala, the expo aims to showcase cutting-edge technologies and industry innovations.
IIIE-2024 will feature a diverse array of advancements in digital transformation, factory automation, additive manufacturing, mechanical components, measuring instruments, and various factory solutions.
The event expects participation from over 300 exhibitors, including leading global manufacturers, and anticipates attendance from more than 10,000 industry professionals, decision-makers, and potential collaborators.
A Nizarudeen, State President of KSSIA, highlighted the significance of the event in promoting industrial growth in Kerala.
“As the sole representative of small-scale industries in the state, KSSIA is committed to hosting an event that showcases the innovation and dynamism driving our industrial sector. We aim to attract new investments and enhance the state’s industrial ecosystem,” he said.
Under the leadership of KP Ramchandran Nair, Chairman of the Expo Organising Committee, IIIE-2024 aims to advance Industry 4.0 technologies, focussing on machine tools, manufacturing innovations, and automation solutions.
“This expo represents a crucial opportunity for India’s industrial future,” Nair stated. “We are dedicated to connecting global expertise with cutting-edge technologies.”
Siji Nair, CEO of IIIE, emphasised the expo’s role in unveiling the latest automation and manufacturing technologies. “Attendees can expect to see the seamless integration of sensors, robotics, software, and collaborative robots (cobots), providing insights into the future of the industry,” he said.
“The event will also feature seminars, presentations, and networking opportunities designed to deliver an exceptional experience for participants.”
IIIE-2024 will serve as a key platform for showcasing state-of-the-art technologies and manufacturing solutions tailored for micro, small, and medium enterprises.
The expo will highlight trends in machine tools, automation technologies, CNC systems, special-purpose machines (SPMs), and advanced processing and packaging machinery.
