New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday appointed Bajrang Punia as Working Chairman of All India Kisan Congress with immediate effect.
Congress general secretary KC Venugopal in a statement said, “Hon’ble Congress President has approved the proposal of the appointment of Shri Bajrang Punia as the Working Chairman of All India Kisan Congress, with immediate effect”.
It may be mentioned that wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat today joined the Congress Party at the AICC headquarters here.
