New Delhi, July 21 (UNI) Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday dissolved the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect, a party statement said here.
Party general secretary K C Venugopal said, “Congress President has approved the proposal of the complete dissolution of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, including the President, PCC, its office bearers and executive committee, District/Block/Mandal Congress Committees, Frontal Organisations, Departments and Cells, with immediate effect.”
The statement added that the current district committee presidents will serve as acting presidents till new presidents are appointed.
