Meanwhile, night ski demonstrations will also be held on the slopes of Gulmarg during which various skiers will showcase their skills.
On this occasion, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Jammu and Kashmir Sports Minister Satish Sharma will preside over the occasion, officials said.
A beam light show, a skiers torch show, a trio dance, and a fireworks show event will also take place during the evening.
Earlier, the Khelo India Winter games were scheduled to take place from February 22 to 28 postponed due to less snowfall at Gulmarg. However, Gulmarg and other parts of Kashmir witnessed heavy snowfall during the first week of March that prompted the authorities to announce a fresh date to hold the mega event.
