- Ladli Behna Utsav begins in Chitrakoot; sisters tied Rakhi to CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while inaugurating Ladli Behna Utsav in Chitrakoot, said that all Ladli sisters will be given Rs. 1250 with a single click in their accounts on 10th August and Rs. 250 extra as Rakshabandhan gift. He said that the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on 19th August. But we will celebrate the festival throughout Sawan. Festivals are being organized in every district to get the love and blessings of sisters.
CM Dr. Yadav said that sisters give affection to their brothers by tying Rakhi with love. Today, sisters have already given me the joy of Rakshabandhan by tying a huge Rakhi. In the program, Ladli sisters handed over a 30 feet long Rakhi to the Chief Minister. The sisters also presented ‘Aabhar Sneh Pati’ written in local Bagheli to the Chief Minister.
Chitrakoot is Tapabhoomi of Shri Ram
Dr. Yadav said that Chitrakoot is the Tapabhoomi of Lord Ram and Nanaji Deshmukh. The land of Chitrakoot is irrigated with the tears of love arising from the sacred union of Lord Ram and the supreme devotee Bharat ji. Continuous efforts are being made for the all-round development of Chitrakoot.
Dr. Yadav reached Chitrakoot and planted fruit trees in the entrepreneurship campus of Deendayal Research Institute under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. He also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated construction works worth Rs 131 crore. In the ceremony, the Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana. The Chief Minister honored the daughters by performing Kanya-Pujan. The Chief Minister also visited the exhibition of livelihood projects set up at the venue.
CM presented gifts to Ladli sisters
Dr. Mohan Yadav gave gifts to the Ladli sisters present in the gratitude cum gift program of Ladli Behna beneficiaries before Rakshabandhan. Earlier, in this program centered on Sawan Utsav on the theme of Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav went near the decorated swings in the premises and blessed Ladli Beti Palak and he talked to the Ladli sisters sitting on the swing. Dr. Yadav was overwhelmed by the greetings of Ladli sisters and at the beginning of his address, he sang the song “Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka, Sabko Kehna Hai….. Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.”
Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing, Smt. Pratima Bagri said that 3 lakh 84 thousand 259 sisters of Satna district have been given an amount of Rs 9 crore 61 lakh in their bank accounts under the Ladli Behna Yojana. Development work has started in Lord Shri Ram’s holy land Chitrakoot with the Ramvan Path Gaman Yojana. Geo Park will be constructed in Chitrakoot. Chitrakoot will be developed like Ayodhya.
