- World Hindi Day organized in LIC

The celebration of World Hindi Day was started with the corporation song on Wednesday at the regional office of Life Insurance Corporation of India. On this occasion, the program was presided over by Baghrai Majhi, Regional Manager, Central Region, Life Insurance Corporation of India.
On this occasion, a correct writing competition was organized for the officers and employees of the corporation in which the office staff participated with great enthusiasm. In his address on this occasion, Baghrai Majhi explained the importance of World Hindi Day and said that Life Insurance Corporation of India is continuously using Hindi to communicate with its customers, officers and agents posted in the field of marketing. Emails, SMS etc. are being sent in Hindi. Information and advertisements regarding the work and schemes of Life Insurance Corporation of India are also being issued in Hindi. It is considered important to communicate in Hindi language so that our message can be easily conveyed to the customers.
Use Hindi in office work
On this occasion, Majhi appealed to the corporation employees to use Hindi as much as possible in their official work and said that after understanding the simplicity of Hindi, they should use it as much as possible in their communication and official work. Even in today’s technological era, the use of Hindi is increasing due to which it is becoming easier to speak, understand and communicate. The winners of the competition organized on this occasion were also honored. The vote of thanks in the program was given by Rajesh Vastav, Regional Manager. Official Language Officer Chandrashekhar Tapi conducted the operation.
