Mumbai, Nov 9 (UNI) Saluting the calibre of youngsters taking part in the KBC junior segment of his popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, legendary Vollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan says he is learning a lot from them.
“I am late but in complete amazement of the calibre of the contestants that I am encountering at KBC Jr ” Bachchan said in a post on his blog on Saturday.
KBC, the official Hindi adaptation of the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” franchisee was broadcast for the first time in 2000. In 2024, the show is in its 16th season. Bachchan has hosted the show for its entire run except for its third season, during which it was presented by another Bollywood great Shah Rukh Khan.
It is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
Bachchan said he was astonished by the confidence and knowledge of the young participants.
‘The young ones are no longer young .. they are mature, intelligent beyond imagination and the quality of their confidence and knowledge is simply astonishing’ he said.
Further expressing his admiration, Bachchan wrote: “Be it GK, be it Literature, be it mythology, be it the Space .. pick any subject and they have a smile on their faces of “I know this “, look’.
Bachchan said it has been a great learning experience for him. “It is a learning not just for the game designers, but for me in particular I gain so much from them .. and feel there is so much to still gather for my life and living” he said.
