New Delhi, Aug 16 (UNI) In the wake of Lok Sabha election scheduled to be held next year, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge held an important meeting with prominent party leaders of Delhi on Wednesday.
According to party sources, in addition to Kharge, former party president Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary incharge of Delhi Deepak Babaria, state president Anil Chaudhary, Senior leaders Ajay Maken and Sandeep Dixit, and several other prominent leaders attended the meeting.
Kharge said “Due to the upcoming Lok Sabha election, it is imperative that we consult with the leaders of Delhi Congress.
Our top priority is to establish a new form of communication for Delhi Congress, one that includes the participation of all leaders and workers. We have made Delhi prosperous and happy, and our struggle for the people of the National Capital continues,’ he said.
Rahul Gandhi also said “A meeting was held with Delhi Congress leaders today under the leadership of party President Mallikarjun Kharge.
The Congress party will take every step for the progress of Delhi.”
