Bhopal, : Sagarites of Sagar Public School Rohit Nagar excelled brightly at its Annual Day celebration, themed “Magnificent Bharat.” Renowned scientist and researcher, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava, Associate Professor, Department of Physics IIT BHU, and Dr. Sapna Bajaj Jain, Director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sagar Multispecialty Hospital graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor for the day.
Sagarites presented a powerful message ‘Let us strive together, hand in hand to make Bharat’s future truly grand. The celebrations began with the lighting of the lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati followed by a soulful musical performance by the young musicians. Sagarites innovatively projected the story of Bharat with the rendition of its ‘Udgam’ right from the Indus Valley to Hindustan and its journey as Bharat. Throughout the presentation, Sagarites acquainted the audience with the novelty of the name ‘Bharat.’ Presentation on Ahilya Bai’s Zenith of Justice, Rabindra Nath Tagore’s Kabuliwala, and Prithviraj Chauhan’s Invincible Valour showcased its rich heritage leaving the spectators awe-struck. A sense of excitement among the parents and other spectators reached its pinnacle after the breathtaking performance of ‘Folds of Fortitude – The Himalayas’ and ‘The Magnificence.’ Sagarites presented the values and projected Zero, Yoga, Gurukul, Ayurveda, Omkar etc. as gifts to the world. At the culmination, Sagarites celebrated Bharat success and presented the new Bharat ready to lead the world. They showcased it with the G-20 Summit, Asian Games medallic performance, Chandrayaan and Gagan Yaan success, reaching the stars by Aditya with a message of staying together with virtues and values in a series of 11 dance performances. The Principal, Shraddha Kanungo presented the Annual Report escalating the assiduous and persistent efforts of the Sagarites. The program concluded with a heartwarming vote of thanks by Dr Jaishree Indoria, Vice Principal of the school expressing gratitude to all the guests, parents, teachers, and students for their efforts.
Yesterday, the school witnessed the Juniors Annual Day on the theme The Elixir of Life in which Sagarites transmitted a woven rhythmic dance performance that embodied the theme of quintessential values transforming the world into an eternal paradise in the presence of Dr. Kailasa M Rao Director School of Planning & Architecture Bhopal as its Chief Guest. Sagarites plugged the grand finale portraying the idea that humanity reigns supreme in an effortless and well-coordinated script and presentations putting up a splendid show.
