Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) youth leader Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday slammed the Eknath Shinde-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra and described it as a “corrupt Sarkar”.
Addressing annual Dussehra rally at historic Shivaji Park in Dadar in central Mumbai, he said, “Once we come to power, we will put you behind the bars.”
“If we want to stop it, we will have to stay together. How much more corruption should be seen? A to Z of corruption. The Bhoomi Poojan of so many projects is being done. But let me tell you, none of these projects will be completed. We can see the scam of Rs 5,000 crore,” he further said.
“Ration, school uniforms. What is the quality? What is the standard? When Subhash Desai was the industries minister, we got Rs 80,000 crore investment from Davos for Maharashtra. But when (Eknath Shinde) government went, they splurged Rs 45 crore in two days,” he claimed.
Stating that this is not a personal battle, Aaditya Thackeray asked, “Are we going to allow Mumbai to be donated to industrialist Gautam Adani?”
“No jobs are available in Maharashtra at present. The youth are educated, but unemployed. This government is only interested in ‘khoke’ (corruption). Airbus has gone to Gujarat. Bulk Drug Park has been sent by this government from Raigad to Gujarat. We need to stop this. Because if they come to power, they will take even the Secretariat to Gujarat,” he alleged.
During the speech, the Yuva Sena chief imitated and mocked Eknath Shinde.
While sharing his memories of Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackrey, Aaditya reflected that his mind is filled with so many memories and every year, since his childhood, he used to sit here, on the grass, to listen to his grandfather.
