Maha: CM greets citizens on eve of Lord Ganesha festival

Mumbai, (UNI) On eve of Shri Ganesha’s arrival for 10-day-long festivity, Chief Minister Shinde on Friday extended greetings to all the Ganesha devotees from all over the world along with the citizens of Maharashtra.

In his greeting message, the Chief Minister said that the arrival of Lord Ganesha every year brings a new energy, inspiration and enthusiasm. This creates an auspicious, holy atmosphere.

Ganeshotsav shows the culture of Maharashtra. Therefore, the world is also paying attention to Maharashtra. Shri Ganesha is considered Kaladhipati.

“Therefore, during this festival, creativity also flourishes. Every corner of Maharashtra overflows with such innovations and enthusiasm. Let us celebrate this festival with enthusiasm, joy and sanctity this year too,” he said.

“While serving Lord Ganesha with spirit, let us be conscious of social responsibility. Taking the festival as an opportunity, let us reach out to the needy in the society and try to provide them with education, health and various types of services and help,” he noted.

Shinde has prayed that the arrival of Shri Ganaraya (Lord Ganesh) will bring happiness, health, prosperity and satisfaction to everyone who is working to speed up the development cycle of the state, for farmers, workers, labourers, mothers and sisters, children and elders of the state, he added.
