Kolhapur, Aug 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday hoisted the Tri-colour at district collector office here to mark 77th Independence Day celebration.
Pawar remembered the freedom fighters who fought for the freedom of the country and saluted them.
State Planning cCommission chairman Rajesh Khirsagar, MP Dhananjay Mahadik, MLAs Rajendra Patil-Yadravkar, Rajesh Patil, Shreemant Shahu Maharaj Chhatrapati, district collector Rahul Rekhavar, district superintendent of police Mahendra Pandit other senior officials , freedom fighters and senior citizens were present on this occasion.
