Along with adopting the best practices being implemented by other states for revenue receipts, advice of subject experts should also be taken for the purpose of making a more effective action plan according to the conditions of the state. Work should be done with transparency and honesty to increase revenue receipts. Development and public welfare works will get momentum only with more revenue receipts. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the status of revenue receipts for the year 2024-25. Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. J.N. Consotia, Mr. S.N. Mishra, Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Finance Mr. Manish Singh and officers of other departments were present in the meeting held at Samatva Bhavan.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by increasing vigilance in stamp and registration, it should be ensured that there is not much difference between the actual value of the land and the rate at which the registry is being done. At places in the state where there is a lot of disparity in rates, rates should be adjusted. To prevent revenue loss in excise related activities and to ensure sale of material as per rules, surprise inspection related actions should be increased. Lands of other departments including revenue, religious affairs should be identified and it should be ensured that there is no encroachment on them and their use should be ensured with a view to increase revenue receipts as per the importance of such lands.
