Maldivian journalists and content creators arrive in Hyderabad for familiarisation programme

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) A 15-member delegation of journalists and content creators from the Maldives arrived in Hyderabad on Saturday as part of a familiarisation programme organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The delegation was welcomed by S. A. Hashmi, Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, on Saturday evening.

The programme aims to provide the visiting delegates with an opportunity to explore various facets of India, including its culture, innovation, and heritage. The delegation will be in Hyderabad from November 16 to 20.

As part of the itinerary, the team will attend the India Joy Festival at Hi-Tec City, featuring ventures in digital entertainment, gaming, e-sports, and comics. They will also visit prominent institutions such as T-Hub and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories to gain insights into India’s innovation and industrial landscape.

In addition, the delegation will explore Hyderabad’s rich heritage by visiting historical landmarks like Golconda Fort, Charminar, Salar Jung Museum, Shilparamam, and Ramoji Film City, according to an official statement issued on Saturday night.
