Marathi actor Vijay Kadam passes away at 67

Mumbai, Aug 10 (UNI) Vijay Kadam, a renowned actor known for his work in theatre, film, and television, passed away at his residence in Mumbai’s Andheri on Saturday morning.

He was 67 and had been battling cancer for several years.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Kadam was acclaimed for his stage performances in notable plays such as Turtur, Vichha Mazi Puri Kara, and Pappa Sanga Kunache. He also featured in several Marathi films, including Irsal Kaarti and De Danadan.

His last rites was performed at Andheri crematorium which was attended by a large number of people.
