Mayawati relieves brother Anand from national coordinator post

Lucknow, Mar 5 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Wednesday said that she has relieved party’s national vice president and her brother Anand Kumar from the post of National Coordinator as per his wish.

Taking to ‘X’, Mayawati wrote, “BSP national vice president Anand Kumar, who has been working with selfless service and dedication for a long time and was also made the National Coordinator recently, has expressed his desire to work on one post in view of the interest of the party and the movement, which is welcomed.”

She said, “In such a situation, Anand Kumar, while being on the post of BSP National Vice President, will continue to perform his responsibilities as before under my direct guidance and now in his place, Randhir Beniwal, a resident of Saharanpur district of UP, has been given the new responsibility of National Coordinator.”

The BSP supremo said, “Thus, Ramji Gautam, Rajya Sabha MP and Randhir Beniwal, both of them will directly handle the responsibilities of different states of the country under my guidance as BSP National Coordinator. The party hopes that these people will work with full honesty and integrity.”

It may be noted that a few days back Mayawati removed her nephew Akash Anand from the post of National Coordinator and handed over this responsibility to her brother Anand Kumar. Later, she expelled Akash from the party as well.
