- Hospitalized in serious condition, police searching for accused
Bhopal: A miscreant shot a bike rider in Ashoka Garden area. The youth is seriously injured after being shot in the stomach. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. On the report of the injured youth’s friend, the police have registered a case of attempted murder against the accused and started searching for him.
According to the information, Shubham Tendulkar (26) lives in Subhash Colony, Ashoka Garden and works in a private job. He has set up a Ganesh tableau in Samrat Colony Ashoka Garden with a committee of his friends. On Saturday night at around 12 o’clock, Shubham was going to the tableau on a Pulsar bike with his friend Raunak Singh (24). Raunak Singh was driving the bike, while Shubham was sitting behind. Both friends reached Saubhagya Homes Tiraha, when Yash Agarwal, who came from behind on a scooter, blocked their bike. Before Raunak and Shubham could understand anything, Yash Agarwal took out his pistol and shot them. The bullet from the pistol hit Shubham, who was sitting behind on the bike, in his stomach, which caused bleeding. After firing, Yash fled from the spot.
Raunak, with the help of people, took his injured friend to a private hospital in Chunabhatti for treatment, where he is undergoing treatment.

Youth rapes minor
A young man raped a minor girl living in the Berasia area. The police have registered a case against the accused. According to the information, a 13-year-old girl living in the area used to visit the house of a young man named Arjun. On Friday afternoon at around 12 o’clock, the girl went to Arjun’s house for some work. No one else was at home at that time. Arjun found her alone and raped her. After reaching home, the victim informed her family about the molestation. The family took her to the police station, where the victim filed a report of molestation against Arjun. After the rape was confirmed in the medical examination on Saturday, the police have increased the charges against the accused.

Dalit girl molested
Habibganj police has registered a case against the youth for obscene act and insulting the caste on the report of a Dalit girl. According to the police, the 30-year-old girl works in private sector. She was earlier friends with Bhagwan Singh, who worked with her. During this time, the girl became friends with another youth working with her. Woman police officer hit by bike
A woman officer and her son crossing the road near Roshanpura intersection in TT Nagar police station area were hit by a speeding bike driver. In this accident, the mother and son have suffered serious injuries. Both have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case against the bike driver who hit them. According to the police, Akshay Yadav (30) lives in Sharda Nagar, Obedullaganj, Raisen district and works in a company located in Mandideep. His mother Urmila Yadav (56) is a police inspector and is currently the in-charge of the women’s police station in Vidisha district. At around 8 pm on Friday night, Urmila was crossing the road with her son Akshay in front of Alankar Jewelers at Roshanpura intersection to go towards the New Market. Meanwhile, a speeding bike rider going from Roshanpura towards Mata Mandir hit the mother and son, due to which both were seriously injured. The police personnel posted at the intersection and the people nearby picked them up and sent them to Jaiprakash Hospital by auto for treatment.
