Bhopal: In Gautam Nagar, three miscreants assaulted a shopkeeper for not serving them chowmein for free. They also beat up the employee who came to intervene. The police have registered a case against the miscreants and started efforts to arrest them.
According to the police, Himanshu Prajapati (29) lives in Sharda Nagar Nariyalkheda and has a chowmein stall. Around 10 pm, miscreants Zaid RTO, Sikandar Asif and Ajju alias Azhar reached his shop. When the three asked for free chowmein, the shop employee Lakhan refused to give free stuff. At this, the three miscreants started abusing him.
When Lakhan and Himanshu stopped them from abusing, the three started beating him up. During this, one of the miscreants picked up a vegetable cutting knife kept in the shop and attacked Lakhan, but he escaped. When Lakhan tried to catch the knife, he got hit by Zaid. When the people around reached there after hearing the noise, all three miscreants threatened him and fled from there.
Later Himanshu went to the police station and registered a case of assault and stubbornness against all three.

Teenager commits suicide by hanging
A teenager living in Piplani committed suicide by hanging himself at home. No suicide note has been found with him. The reasons for the suicide will be revealed only after the inquest. According to the police, Lakhan Sen (17) lived in Bal Vihar Anand Nagar. After studying till ninth standard, he was doing private work. He committed suicide by hanging himself at home at around 11 am on Friday morning. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, registered the inquest, got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family. Statements could not be recorded as the family was inconsolable. The reasons for the suicide will be revealed only after the inquest.

Youth dies after consuming pesticide
A young man living in Ratibad area drank pesticide kept in the house. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died. Police registered a case and after conducting postmortem, handed over the body to the family. According to the police, Rameshwar Semle (31) lived in village Nathu Barkheda and worked as a farm labourer. Late Friday night, he drank pesticide kept in the house. When he vomited, he was taken to Hamidia Hospital for treatment, where he died. After receiving information from the hospital, the police reached the spot, registered a case and after conducting postmortem, handed over the body to the family. At present, no such information has come to light, which could reveal the reasons for drinking pesticide. Police is investigating the matter.

Elderly man injured in accident dies
An elderly man injured in an accident on Kolar Road died during treatment. Police registered a case and after conducting postmortem, handed over the body to the family. According to the police, Kamlesh Kumar Sharma (70) lived on Signature Crown Shirdipuram Kolar Road. On the night of October 12, at around 8:30 pm, a bike rider hit him and injured him at Mandakini intersection. Local people took the injured elderly man to Jaiprakash Hospital for treatment, from where he was sent to Narmada Hospital. Later he was admitted to AIIMS Hospital, where Kamlesh Sharma died on Saturday. The police had registered an accident case against the bike driver who hit him. After the death of the injured, sections are being increased against the accused driver.

According to the information, Prakash Prajapati, son Durga Prasad Prajapati, lived in village Ratua police station Gunga and worked as a laborer. Late Friday night, he hanged himself in his room. When the family members saw the body on Saturday morning, they informed the police. The police reached the spot, registered a case, got the post-mortem done and handed over the body to the family. Initial investigation did not reveal any information that could reveal the reason behind the suicide.
