Renowned mountaineer and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao ambassador Bhawna Dehariya received a hero’s welcome at Raja Bhoj Airport after returning from Argentina on Wednesday. She recently conquered Mount Aconcagua (6,961m), the highest peak in South America, bringing pride to India.
A Trailblazer in mountaineering
Bhawna is Madhya Pradesh’s first female mountaineer on a mission to summit the highest peaks of all seven continents. This was her fifth major climb, showcasing her commitment to adventure sports and women’s empowerment. She dedicated her achievement to inspiring youth and promoting mountaineering in India.
