Bhopal: In Bhopal, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi is proving to be a unifying force, mending recent divisions within the Madhya Pradesh Congress sparked by rumors of Kamal Nath’s defection. On Thursday, Jitu Patwari, the Congress state president, visibly demonstrated his support by affixing Nyay Yatra posters to his car, accompanied by MLA Sajjan Singh Verma.
MLA Verma, known for his allegiance to Nath, had faced speculation of following his leader to the BJP amidst the swirling rumors of Nath’s switch. Patwari shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), urging netizens to join the cause by displaying Nyay Yatra posters on their vehicles.
MP Congress actively disseminated these videos and images on Twitter. However, some X users expressed reservations about Minister Sajjan Singh Verma, questioning his trustworthiness in light of recent events. One user emphasized that Verma’s allegiance seems directed towards the leader rather than the party, while another asserted that both Verma and Kamal Nath cannot be relied upon.
It is worth noting that Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra is scheduled to enter Madhya Pradesh on March 2, starting from Morena and progressing through Ratlam district before reaching the border of Barmer district in Rajasthan. The journey will feature Rahul Gandhi’s inaugural meeting in Morena, followed by engagement with the public through road shows and street meetings.
