Bhopal: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Madhya Pradesh is setting new dimensions every day in the field of IT and digital innovation. Realizing the dream of self-reliant India, the state has developed such a system of technological advancement and digital facilities for its government departments and citizens, which has become an example for the whole country. The state is moving towards becoming self-reliant in the digital sector while realizing the dream of Digital India. In this, Madhya Pradesh State Electronic Development Corporation (MPSEDC) and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST) are playing their important role.
Software developed in MP made a mark in the country
Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC), the state has taken many remarkable steps in digital technology. Platforms like Sampada 2.0 and Cyber ??Tehsil are simplifying citizen services and also strengthening the identity of the state at the national level. Sampada 2.0 has made the process of property registration digital and has made it possible to perform tasks like e-registration, e-stamp, calculation of stamp duty and document search from home. Cyber ??Tehsil has made a successful effort to reduce corruption and provide prompt services to the public by making the processes of revenue courts transparent and streamlined.
Encouraging investment and start-ups
Recognizing the transformative potential of Information Technology (IT), Information Technology-Enabled Services (ITES), Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Data Centers, a visionary “IT, ITES and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023” has been created in the state. This policy has been designed to promote the digital infrastructure of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav launched the guidelines of this policy at the Jabalpur Regional Industry Conclave. The policy has provisions to provide financial and non-financial assistance to investors. A fully digital single window system has also been created for all financial assistance, necessary permissions, approvals, applications and any other related processes. Start-up Policy-2022 is in force to encourage the youth of the state for self-employment and promote startups.
