MP State Hockey Academy team is runner-up

Bhopal: The 41st Nehru Sub Junior Hockey Tournament was organized at Shivaji Stadium, New Delhi from 4 October to 14 October. In the competition, the hockey players of the Sports Academy performed brilliantly and won the title of runner-up. In this hockey tournament organized at Shivaji Stadium, Delhi, the players of the Sports Academy entered the finals by performing well. The final match of the tournament was played between MP State Hockey Academy Bhopal and Naval Tata Hockey Academy Jamshedpur. In the tournament, the team of MP State Hockey Academy Bhopal became runner-up after losing to Naval Tata Jamshedpur 5-1.

Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang praised the hockey team of the Sports Academy and congratulated them for this sports achievement. It is noteworthy that 28 renowned teams from across the country participated in this hockey tournament held at Shivaji Stadium in Delhi. The players of Madhya Pradesh State Men’s Hockey Academy, which was the runner-up in the tournament, are training under the guidance of Chief Trainer Mr. Samirdar and Coach Mr. Lokendra Sharma.
