MP’s Vandana wins Silver at Asian Bodybuilding Championship

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh’s Vandana Thakur, an acclaimed female bodybuilder, has secured the silver medal in the Senior Women’s Bodybuilding in more than 55 kg category at the 56th Asian Body Building and Physique Sports Championship 2024, held in Batam, Indonesia. This impressive achievement has also earned her a qualification spot for the upcoming 15th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, scheduled to take place in the Maldives this November.

The 56th Asian Body Building and Physique Sports Championship took place from August 6 to 12, 2024, on the Riau Island in Batam, Indonesia. Vandana’s stellar performance in her category not only secured her a place on the podium but also reinforced her status as a leading figure in Indian bodybuilding.
