Chennai, Nov 9 (UNI) Tyre major MRF Limited has reported Rs 6,994.30 crore as consolidated total income for the second quarter of the current fiscal.
It stood at Rs 7,280.49 crore at the end of first quarter.
The company also reported Rs 14,274.79 crore consolidated total income during the first half of the year when compared to Rs 12,802.30 crore during the corresponding period last year, a MRF release said.
PBT for Q2 stood at Rs 631.18 crore and for H1 at Rs 1,394.90 crores.
It said the consolidated net profit was less by 20% to Rs 470.70 crore for the quarter due to rise’ in raw material prices. For H1 it slid to Rs 1,041.72 crore from Rs 1,175.41 crore during the same period last year.
Revenue from operations rose by 11% to Rs 6,881.09 crore, in the quarter and to Rs 14,077.54 crore in H1.
The board declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share.
