MVA stage protests in Maharashtra Assembly premises

Mumbai, June 27 (UNI) The Maha Vikas Aghadi legislators of the opposition staged an agitation against the Mahayuti government demanding loan waver for farmers as the Maharashtra Assembly came into Monsoon Session on Thursday.

MVA MLAs led by Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar staged protests on the steps of the House against the Eknath Shinde government raising slogans like “State government Hai Hai”, “Shetkari Karzamukti Zalich Pahije”.

Congress’ former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and leaders Satej Patil, Bhai Jagtap, NCP’s Anil Deshmukh, among others MVA legislators participated in the protest.

Meanwhile CM Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis along with Mahayuti legislators paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at his statue at the assembly premises.

Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son also former minister Aditya Thackeray paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue as well among others.
