- Sri Mahakaleshwar is the first temple in the country where devotees can take prasad from vending Machine
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda on Sunday inaugurated the Laddu Prasad Vending Machine amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. With this new modern technology, devotees will receive Prasad conveniently. Mahakaleshwar Temple of Ujjain is the first temple in the country where devotees have been provided the facility to take Prasad from vending machines.
Such a high-tech facility is not available in any other temple
As soon as payment is made by scanning the QR code through the Laddu Prasad vending machines, the packet of laddu will come out of the machine from the Prasad well. The temple committee has taken this automatic machine from the 5G technology company of Coimbatore. Devotees will be able to get 100 gram, 200 gram and 500 gram laddu packets from this machine. This hi-tech facility is not currently available in any other temple in the country.
5-star rating to temple’s Laddus Prasad and Annakshetra
Notably, the Laddu Prasad manufacturing unit and free grain field are being operated by the management committee of one of the world-famous twelve Jyotirlingas, the Dakshinmukhi Bhagwan Mahakaleshwar. The Laddu Prasad of the temple and free food prasad in Annakshetra have been included in the status of 5-star rating by FSSAI and a certificate has been issued by the Central government. In 2021, Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee received a 5-star rating for hygienic excellence in the field of Laddu Prasad. The temple’s Free Annakshetra is the third religious institution in the country to receive the Hygienic Excellence 5-Star Rating. Recently both the above-mentioned units were inspected and audited by FSSAI of the Government of India. After evaluation, both units were considered excellent. Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee also has the certificate of Safe Bhog Place.
