National Space Day: Sarkia Gharu tells children about Chandrayaan

Bhopal, Chandrayaan-3 mission made a soft landing near the south polar region of the moon on 23 August a year ago, making India the first country to achieve this success. To celebrate this success, under the first National Space Day declared by the Government of India, National Award winning science broadcaster Sarika is visiting rural and tribal villages to inform about the scientific success of the country. For the sake of interest, she is visiting as an astronaut and informing the children about the success of ISRO.

Sarika told that the landing site on the moon has been named Shivshakti Station. Pragyan Rover, coming out of Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander, studied the surface and atmosphere of the moon, thermo physical features, plasma environment, element composition and earthquakes. Rover mobility was also seen in this.

Sarika tells about space programs

Sarika told that the theme of Space Day is – Touching life while touching the moon: India’s space saga Giving information about the upcoming space programs, Sarika said that soon Indian astronauts will be sent to the Earth’s orbit 400 km above through Gaganyaan in a three-day mission. These astronauts will land safely in the sea on their return. After this, the Chandrayaan-4 mission aims to bring moon rocks and soil to Earth, which will include launching a spacecraft from the Moon.

Sarika gave the message that get ready to celebrate the Indian success of carrying Earth’s message to the moon as the first National Space Day.
