- Date could not be decided, Delhi is also option

The next meeting of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), an alliance of opposition parties united to remove the Modi government at the Centre, may be held in Bhopal in the electoral state of Madhya Pradesh. However, its date has not been decided. According to sources, along with the meeting in Bhopal, a public meeting of opposition leaders can also be held.
If sources are to be believed, the option of holding the next meeting was discussed in the recent meeting of opposition parties in Mumbai and there was broad consensus on holding the meeting in Bhopal, although no date was fixed and its modalities were yet to be decided. But the work was not done. Sources said that the next meeting of the opposition alliance may be held in early October. Opposition leaders have also considered Delhi as an option. The India Alliance has already held three meetings in Patna, Bengaluru and Mumbai and is now planning to organize joint rallies against the NDA at various places as the elections approach. Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh in November, hence the meeting is being considered important.
