Bhopal, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is entering its 40th year with style and grace, celebrating a remarkable 39 years of shaping the future of the fashion industry. Established in 1986, NIFT has been an epitome of creativity, innovation and skill development, contributing significantly to the development of India’s fashion landscape.
With its commitment to excellence, NIFT has played a vital role in nurturing talented individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the dynamic world of fashion. Over the past four decades, the institute has evolved into a global center for fashion education and research.
The celebration began with the grand lighting of the lamp by Lt Col Ashish Agarwal, Director, NIFT Bhopal, and Saraswati Vandana at the NIFT Bhopal campus, where faculty and industry leaders gathered to celebrate this milestone.
Apart from celebrating its achievements, NIFT Bhopal also celebrated the grand establishment of Ram Mandir by lighting a number of lamps.
Special dance performance
The students also performed a special dance performance which included the colors of India from Bharatnatyam, Kathak to Odissi, Manipuri dance styles. The dance performance was guided by Ayush Kumar Tiwari, the new secretary of the cultural club.
NIFT Bhopal also started its 40th year with new Council President and Secretary of Cultural Club, Literary Club, Ethics and Social Service Club, Environmental Club, Sports Club, Photography Club. Dr. Prabhat Kumar ji is not only happy to hand over the chair of SDAC (Student Diversity Advisory Council) to Mrs. Nayanthara and Mr. Mohammad Rizwan but is also confident that this is only for the growth of NIFT.
