Bhopal: Ahead of MP Election-2023, Madhya Pradesh Congress on Friday, on the instructions of PCC Chief Kamal Nath, made Nisha Bangre the General Secretary of the State Congress. Its appointment letter has been issued by Madhya Pradesh Congress. Nisha Bangre was a contender for the ticket from Amla assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh.
The appointment letter states that as per the instructions of State Congress President Kamal Nath, Nishan Bangre is nominated for the post of General Secretary in Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. It is hoped that as per the sentiments of National President Mallikarjun Kharge, you will discharge the responsibility assigned to you for strengthening the party organization with full devotion.
Nisha Bangre had expressed her desire to contest elections from Amla Assembly seat after resigning from the post of Deputy Collector. Along with this, Congress was planning to field her from Amla assembly seat. But Nisha Bangre’s resignation was not accepted.
She could not get Congress ticket. Soon after Congress declared candidate on Amla seat the state government accepted Nisha’s resignation. But the party did not change its candidate on Amla seat.
A few days ago, Nisha Bangre had expressed her displeasure over not getting the Congress ticket and along with this she had also talked about contesting the assembly elections as an independent from Amla assembly seat.
