No one will remain landless and homeless: CM

CM Chouhan performed Grih Pravesh of 70000 beneficiaries; 300 crores transferred with single click

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no one will remain landless and homeless in villages including urban areas of the state. Every person will get a pucca house. About 23 thousand acres of land has been freed from the land mafia in the state, on which pucca houses will be built for the poor. Out of 9 lakh 54 thousand approved houses in the state, 6 lakh 81 thousand houses have been completed.

Chouhan was distributing benefits to more than one lakh beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) at Rabindra Bhawan, Bhopal today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan transferred an amount of Rs 300 crore to the accounts of 30 thousand beneficiaries of the housing scheme with a single click.

The Chief Minister got 70,000 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) to enter their homes and also interacted with the beneficiaries.
