Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav regarding the nursing examination and requested to release the result of this examination soon. It has been said that this will enable children to get admission in colleges and girl students will be able to complete their course in the stipulated period.

Singh has said that the MP Staff Selection Board has not declared the result of the four-year nursing course examination conducted in July last year for the last one year. As a result, more than 60 thousand candidates are doubtful about their future. They are making rounds of the board’s office and the minister’s bungalow demanding declaration of the result. He has said in the letter that the board had conducted this examination in July 2023 by delaying the entrance examination for the session year 2022-23 for admission in government nursing college, but the exam results have not been released till date.

He alleged that the nursing scam happened in relation to the recognition of private colleges, but its effect fell on the colleges of the government as well. Investigation is going on after huge irregularities were found in the 666 old colleges running in the state. Due to these, the nursing college run by the government has been declared zero year. He said that due to non-availability of educated and trained nurses from nursing colleges, the work of hospitals and medical colleges of the state is also getting affected.
