Bhopal: Now, online appointments can be taken from home for treatment in dental units run in government hospitals of Bhopal. This facility can be availed by calling the toll free number 18002332085 of Ayushman Bharat Niramaya Helpline. By calling the helpline, the patient will have to tell his residence or current location.
The helpline will suggest options for the nearest hospital. Appointment will be ensured as per the hospital and time mentioned by the patient. This toll free facility, operated in collaboration with William J Clinton Foundation, towards the objectives of Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission, is available from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. Under this facility, the patient can take an appointment according to his convenience during the OPD time of the hospitals.
Consultation can be taken by reaching the hospital at the scheduled time of the appointment. Aabha ID can also be created by calling on this number. Beneficiaries will be able to easily get Abha ID by providing their Aadhar card number and Aadhar linked mobile number. Chief Medical and Health Officer Bhopal Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari said that dental units are being operated in District Hospital Jai Prakash, Civil Hospital Berasia, Civil Hospital Bairagarh, Community Health Center Gandhi Nagar, Community Health Center Kolar and Chief Minister Sanjeevani Polyclinic Govindpura Industrial Area. Oral cancer screening facility is also available in these units. Apart from this, a dental unit is being operated for children’s dental problems in the District Early Intervention Center. Pedodontists are providing services here. Consultation and treatment can be taken at the scheduled time of OPD by taking online appointment in these dental disease units. This facility is completely free and it will also save the patient’s time.
