- Rebels pose a big challenge to candidates
- Dissidents introduced to Prime Minister Modi and Rahul
Dr. Sanjay Payasi, Satna
In the assembly elections in Vindhya, it is usually the responsibility of the organization to convince the leaders who are angry with the party’s policy. While the BJP took the help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress handed over this responsibility to Rahul Gandhi. After meeting the big leaders, the temperature of the angry leaders seems to have gone down.
It is noteworthy that in some seats in Vindhya, the rebels have posed a big challenge to the official candidates of the party. Most of the rebels were senior leaders of their party. Their anger has had a significant impact on the local organization as well. Many authorized candidates of the party are having to build the structure of the organization in the entire assembly constituency with their efforts.
However, this type of problem is more in Congress than in BJP. This is the reason that even after getting tickets, candidates at some places remained busy searching for workers at the lower level of the area for weeks.
Silence of strong contenders
In Vindhya, BJP did not give tickets to many influential people who were the face of the party for a long time. Such powerful leaders, who were leading the respective assembly for a long time, remained silent after indirectly expressing their displeasure after not getting the ticket.
While there is uneasiness in the camp of the official candidates of the party regarding the silence of such leaders, the opponents are not only happy but are also discussing various things about them.
Big leaders cornered
BJP has fielded big leaders in the assembly elections in two seats of Vindhya. The strategy behind this was that their entry into the fray would create an environment in favor of the party, but on the contrary, the party had to face rebels in both the places. Because of which, despite being a powerful leader, they have remained limited to their area. However, the indirect team of the organization has now taken charge at both the places. With the entry of experienced workers and volunteers who have received election training, a rapid change is visible in the political equations of other parties.
