Coming down heavily on BJP National President J P Nadda, the Trinamool Congress said, ” JPNadda’s rhetoric about corruption in Bengal reeks of hypocrisy, given his own party @BJP4India shamelessly harbours the most corrupt figures entangled in Saradha, Narada & Coal scams: Assam’s CM @himantabiswa, Bengal’s LoP @SuvenduWB, Former Mayor of Asansol @JitendraAsansol. ”
Magically, the moment these tainted individuals hopped onto the BJP bandwagon, the all-powerful WASHING MACHINE wiped their corruption slates clean, conveniently shielding them from any ED-CBI scrutiny, the party further alleged.
Alleging that “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” – SABSE BADA BAKWAS!, the TMC asked, ” Will @JPNadda care to explain why @BJP4India’s much vaunted model leaves out: The Scheduled Tribe community, atrocities against whom increased by 6.4% nationwide, the Scheduled Caste community, atrocities against whom rose by 1.2%, the women, the number and rate of crimes against whom rose by 15.3% and 8%, the agricultural labourers, 5,563 of whom were forced to commit suicide in 2021, an increase by 9% from 2020 and 29% from 2019. ”
Asserting that making “false” allegations against GoWB is the favorite tactic of @BJP4India, the TMC questioned, ” @JPNadda, how can you claim that PM @narendramodi is taking WB forward despite the fact that the centre has blocked the funds amounting to ₹1.15L crore meant for Bengal people? ”
” On the other hand, Smt.@MamataOfficial has been relentlessly working for its people. Because of her innovative policies: In FY 21-22, deployment of credit grown to 1.02L crore in MSME segment, Today, Bengal tops in women’s participation in the MSME sector, ” the party averred and further asked when will the BJP stop “deflecting” people from reality?
” Will @JPNadda ji care to explain why Bengal should have opted for Ayushman Bharat:When PMJAY has not even reached half of its target population, when 400 million Indians have no health cover for being “too rich”, when 90 million Indians are forced to spend a quarter of their family income on healthcare, when the CAG has found corruption and visible fraudulence in the implementation of the scheme, ” the TMC asked.
Why should Bengal have subscribed to the “false” promise of universal healthcare when it already had the most progressive healthcare scheme, Swasthya Sathi, with 2.41 crore families enrolled, the party further asked.
Stating that the BJP is liable to Bengal’s people, the party added, ” @BJP4India never fails to disappoint the people of Bengal by shunning the issue of blocked funds of Rs.8,200 Cr under PMAY, @JPNadda’s futile efforts to deflect the nation against the good deeds of GoWB is deplorable. ”
It’s high time for PM @narendramodi to take up the accountability of “deceiving” lakhs of people from having a roof over their head, the party maintained.
” @JPNadda proudly touts India’s impending rise to become the 3rd largest economy. But let’s face the brutal facts: Unemployment rate hit a staggering 6.1% in 2019, the worst in 45 years, prices of essentials like cooking gas, oil and vegetables are skyrocketing, poor people lack basic nutrition, safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, ” the Trinamool Congress commented and asked what’s the point of having a booming economy if it doesn’t percolate down to benefit the country’s most vulnerable?
” Contrary to @JPNadda’s misleading claims, the leadership of Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial has ushered Bengal into a prosperous era:During 2022-23(Apr-Nov), the growth of WB’s Index of Industrial Production was 7.8%, schemes like Utkarsh Bangla, Kanyashree Prakalpa and Sabooj Sathi have received international recognition, ” the party said and alleged that disseminating “false information won’t alter the truth, Mr. Nadda. Bengal’s ascent continues unabatedly”.
Mentioning the issue of dynastic politics, the TMC said, ” While @JPNadda raises the bogey of dynastic politics against opposition parties, @BJP4India stands as a monument to hypocrisy, nurturing a crop of dynastic leaders in its own backyard. From @JM_Scindia to @ianuragthakur to @PiyushGoyal, BJP’s track record is rife with instances of breeding in-house dynasts and importing them from other parties. ”
” PM @narendramodi’s cabinet has 15 ministers who are either products of dynastic politics or are building their own. About 12% of BJP’s 395 parliamentarians (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha included) are dynasts. It’s about time that this facade of righteousness is shattered, ” the party quipped.
Alleging that safety in BJP states is merely a “hoax”, the party said, ” @BJP4India continues with its blame game and pointing fingers at other states when they are ineffectual in protecting the women of the BJP ruling states itself. According to the NCRB reports UP and MP in the top three states with maximum rape cases, Assam has highest rate of crime against women in India for the 5th consecutive year, zero empathy towards the female wrestlers facing harassment, no action against the release of Bilkis Bano rapists, from 2016, 41000 women went missing in Gujarat. ”
” PM @narendramodi and @JPNadda, how will you justify the escalating devious conspiracies and crimes against women in BJP ruling states? ” the TMC questioned.
Coming to Manipur issue, the party said, ” As the death toll in Manipur inches closer to the grim mark of 200 and communal violence tightens its grip on Nuh, Palwal, and Gurgaon, it becomes increasingly evident that PM @narendramodi has, once again, resorted to the divisive playbook that he knows all too well:Fanning the flames of hatred against minority communities. ”
