According to the belief, Ganesha was born on Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha Chaturthi in the afternoon on Monday, Swati Nakshatra and Leo Lagna. Therefore, every year this Chaturthi is called the main Ganesh Chaturthi. Therefore, every year on this day, people install Ganesha idols in their homes and pandals for 10 days. After this, they worship in the morning and evening. These days there is a festive atmosphere in the entire city. These tableaus are set up by various religious, social organizations and youth from colonies and neighborhoods. In these pandals, prasad distribution and jagran are done along with morning and evening aarti. After this, the idols of Ganpati will be immersed in the Upper and Lower lakes of the city.
