Venkat Vijay, Bhopal
The Railway Ministry is going to change the bedrolls after many years for a comfortable journey for AC passengers.

As a trial, new bedrolls have been introduced in Bilaspur-New Delhi Rajdhani Express passing through Bhopal. The new bedrolls are being provided with high TC bed sheets and pillow covers with excellent whiteness and linen blankets. If the passenger feedback is good, then this arrangement will soon be implemented in other trains.

According to railway officials, this facility has been made available in Rajdhani Express on a trial basis. Soon this change will be made in other trains as well. Passengers who usually travel in AC will feel more comfortable when they get very soft and comfortable sheets, pillows and blankets. Railway is making this effort to provide a comfortable journey to the passengers.

From August 17, the use of ultra-soft linen started in Bilaspur Rajdhani. This new linen has been made to provide the best quality and comfort. Passengers will get hotel-like comfort with this new fabric. This linen has been made with the help of many brands.

This is what the new bedroll looks like

Instructors of the AC coach said that the new linen is full of many features. It is very soft for the skin. It includes features like pillow protection, super absorbency, airy, long life, pleasant fragrance and 100 percent combed cotton. Along with this, high TC bed sheets and pillow covers have excellent whiteness, low water consumption, low lint, premium woolen blankets, low emissions and excellent fiber for better neck support. Currently, the trial of this new linen has been started in Ranchi Rajdhani and Bilaspur Rajdhani. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaish said on Twitter that based on the feedback received from the passengers, it will be started in more trains.

This initiative is a commendable step by Indian Railways towards providing better facilities to passengers.
