PM College of Excellence will provide practical knowledge: Gaur

Bhopal: Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge), Krishna Gaur has said that through the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence, students will get practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Mrs. Gaur was inaugurating the Government Hamidia Arts and Commerce College of Bhopal as the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence.

Minister of State Gaur said that today is a historic day in the field of education as the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence is being launched. The youth are getting an opportunity to shape their future by joining employment-oriented courses. She said that by making extensive changes in the education system of Lord Macaulay of the British era, Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented the new education policy in 2020. Started the education policy to shape the future of the youth. Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that it is a matter of pride that Hamidia College has been selected as the Prime Minister’s College of Excellence of Bhopal district. Personalities who have brought laurels to the state and the country in various fields have received education from Hamidia College Bhopal. Hamidia College has a glorious history. Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Mr. Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav have inaugurated the 55 Prime Minister Colleges of Excellence of the state through digital medium from Indore.

Minister of State Gaur told the youth to move forward with their culture and tradition by taking advantage of the resources being made available to them. Joint Director Sundarlal Sharma Central Business Education Institute Mr. Deepak Paliwal, Chairman of Hamidia College Public Participation Committee Mr. Devendra Rawat, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Pushpa Lata Chaukse also addressed the program. Minister of State Mrs. Gaur planted saplings in the college campus. She also inaugurated the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell, Hindi Granth Academy Cell and Vidyarthi Seva Vas in the college. Additional Director Higher Education Dr. Mathra Prasad, Advocate Bharat Chaturvedi, Collector Koshalendra Vikram Singh, SDM L K Khare, college staff and students were present.
